How to deploy, edit, pause, and understand the numbers on your bot cards.
You can start a bot from two places:
Both take you to the same bot configuration screen. Set your sizing mode, risk controls, and mode (paper or live), then click Deploy.
Your bot appears immediately on My Bots.
Each bot card on My Bots shows:
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Wallet address | The public Polymarket wallet this bot is copying |
| Mode chip | PAPER (amber) or LIVE (green) |
| Status | Active, Paused, or Stopped |
| P&L | Your total profit/loss since the bot was deployed |
| Open positions | How many positions are currently open |
| Win rate | Percentage of closed trades that closed in profit |
Click any bot to open its detail view. From there you can:
Changes to sizing and risk controls apply to new trades only. Positions already open are not affected.
Pausing stops the bot from opening new trades. Any positions already open remain open and continue to be tracked until they close.
Pausing affects only your bot — it has no effect on the wallet you’re copying or on other users who may also be copying that wallet.
To pause: click the Pause button on the bot card or the bot detail page.
To resume: click Resume. The bot immediately starts copying new trades again.
Stopping is permanent. A stopped bot no longer monitors the wallet or opens new trades. It’s preserved in your bot history but cannot be resumed.
If you want to copy the same wallet again, deploy a new bot.
If a wallet drops off the leaderboard (e.g., it becomes money-losing), your bot keeps running. You own the decision to stop or adjust it. You’ll see a notice on the bot card that the wallet is no longer ranked.
