Start Here: Your First 10 Minutes on PolyHuntr

The four-step workflow from browsing top traders to running your first paper bot — no real money required.

What PolyHuntr does

PolyHuntr finds the best-performing public wallets on Polymarket and lets you copy their trades automatically. You set the rules — how much to risk, how to size positions — and the platform does the rest.

Paper mode is the default. Until you explicitly switch a bot to live, nothing touches real money.

The four-step workflow

Step 1 — Browse Top Traders

Go to Top Traders in the sidebar. You’ll see a ranked leaderboard of public Polymarket wallets, sorted by a composite score that weighs 90-day returns, consistency, and risk. Every wallet is a real, public address — no pseudonyms, no seeds.

Click any wallet to open its detail page. You’ll see its full trade history, win rate, biggest wins and losses, and an AI analysis of its edge and strategy style.

Step 2 — Check the math with the Backtester

Before copying anyone, head to Backtester. Paste or select a wallet address and run a replay. The backtester replays that wallet’s real past trades as cash flows over the last 90 days, accounting for trading fees and price slippage.

This tells you how the strategy actually behaved — not how it might behave. See Backtester for what the numbers mean.

Step 3 — Deploy a paper bot

When you find a wallet you like, click Copy on the Top Traders page or on the wallet detail page. You’ll be prompted to configure a bot:

  • Choose a sizing mode (how big each copied trade should be)
  • Set a risk cap (maximum you’re willing to lose before the bot pauses)
  • Leave the toggle on Paper (the default)

Hit Deploy. Your bot is now live in simulation mode.

Step 4 — Watch it on My Bots and Dashboard

Go to My Bots to see all your bots in one place. Each card shows:

  • The wallet it’s copying
  • Your paper P&L so far
  • Whether the bot is active, paused, or stopped

The Dashboard gives you a summary view across all bots plus a live feed of recent whale trades.

When you’re ready to go live

Switching a bot from paper to live is a deliberate action on the bot’s settings page. Each bot has its own mode — you can run one bot live while keeping others in paper. See Paper vs Live for the full walkthrough.
